I have a pair of CGR18650CH batts I had been using in a mech mod for sub ohm coils. I went to a vape shop to get some more 18650s and had a pair of AW IMRs in my hand. Their "mod guy" talked me into getting a pair of NCR18650B instead. He said they were the newer version of the CGR CH. No difference in price so I don't think I was just being up sold. I have been using these NCR's for a few weeks (mech and sub ohm .5-.8Ω) and just stumbled on a post in here that says these are not safe chemistry or high drain. Did some more research and found some ppl think these are OK for mech mods and some don't. Now I'm confused and nervous. What is the deal with these?
Here is the Orbtronic link:

Going forward, which rate should I be concerned with for vaping?
"Max. Discharge rate: 2C (6.8A)
Pulse current (5-6 sec.): 12A"
Should I relegate these NCR's to my VV devices or are they OK for mech and sub ohm between .4 and .9?? To my newbie eyes, these don't appear appropriate to for my current use.
I also saw some people mention a new battery that's out that has a 30A limit, but now I can't find the post again. Anyone know what it is?
