Yep, the SVD will take button tops or flat tops. Be warned that the SVD does love batteries so you may want to do as Train2 says and get the 18500's and even a 18650 or two.
If your getting the 18500's or 18350's I would suggest the AW's.......fi getting the 18650's I would highly suggest Panasonic 2900PD... they will really last a long time ( as in months and months of use) and will go all day in that SVD. In a Provari they last a couple of days. ( of heavy vaping)
Believe it or not....NOT draining Li Ion batteries extends the recharge cycles, so having 2 or even 3 batteries and swapping them out with regularity will help increase the longevity of the batteries
Not to hijack the thread, but does anyone know if this would work with the 3.3V LiFePO4 batteries? (I have a bunch of very nice ones that I'd like to use, but not sure whether these would always read as "Dead" and therefore shut off).
