I wonder what I'm thinking of? Google, Google, Google

ETA: Hmmm. It might be the Vea I was thinking of after all. This is from the Johnson Creek website.

Can I Use Other tanks Or Cartomizers On My Vea® Battery?

Many cartomizers will fit on our Vea® batteries as they are a 510 threading style, which is the most popular threading style. Although they may fit, we cannot guarantee that they will work effectively or for that matter at all. Additionally, the Vea® batteries do not have outer eGo threads. Any cartomizer or tank that is not our Vea® branded cartomizer/Canteen™ you will have to try at your own risk as the batteries cannot be warrantied against failure if another product is used in conjunction with it. If you are going to try different cartomizers with the Vea®; batteries, check with the manufacturer for further information on specifics of their cartomizer to ensure they are compatible with 3.0 +/- 0.2 volt batteries.

Dang those are weak batteries.

Yeah, Vea is an oddity.

Another one is Blu--it's 510 threaded, so you can use any 510 threaded atty, but you can't use 510/eGo chargers because of reverse polarity.

There was another eGo style battery on the market, briefly, that had reverse polarity, but it didn't last very long at all.

Living dangerously? Is it a rebuilt head?

Anyway, before I got my first vw mod, I just used my online calculator. I'm a cautious bird... ;)

Not rebuilt. I have a whole jar of Protank heads in reserve for if I get snowed in or something. I like building RBA coils, but rebuilding Protank heads reminds me of watching grass grow. I remember when I got my first Protank it had voltage/wattage guidelines on the manual, but these are just replacement heads and it doesn't have power recommendations on the box. I do seem to recall the first wave of Protank heads burnt pretty easily, but I vape by taste anyway.

That sounds better. Joyetech eGos, like the one I started with fire at 3.2v and the Twist goes from 3.2v to 4.8v (as does a Vision Spinner). You might consider one of those to play with, they aren't very expensive.
You can't go wrong with a Vision Spinner. After two years of vaping, buying MODs, and even dripping, I still love my Vision Spinners. They produce great vapor when paired with an Aerotank, or Nautilus. The Spinner 2 batteries last longer at 1650mah, but the original 1300mah Spinners are great, too. For the best flavor, and huge clouds I buy the Kanger Dual Enclosed coils.
I can't find a better deal on hardware than at Sweet-Vapes; their Vision Spinner 1300mah is on sale for $20.50- a steal! I already ordered several for myself and family. Their prices on coils are the best, too.
Sweet-Vapes sells ejuice, too. People rave about their cappuccinos, but I didn't care for the ejuice I bought from them. I gave it to someone who did like it, so taste is subjective.
I thought I was done with coffee flavors until I tried Wakonda by Nicoticket; it's delectable!
