Hey guys. I convinced a friend of mine to get into ecigs from analogs, and after trying my spinner/nova combo, he wanted one of his own. I hopped online and bought him 2 900mah VV Spinners from Ecigcharleston (same place i ordered mine from). They arrived today.

I immediately placed them on the chargers (i have 2 chargers and my friend ordered two batts), but the light blinked about 8 times and then didn't stay lit, which indicates its full. I kept them on the charger anyway for a good 2 hours just to be on the safe side. Both of them still don't work. When i screw on the nova and fire it up, the LED doesn't light up when i push it, and no vapor is produced. Seems like a dead battery but its not even giving me the "this battery is dead" flashes. When i screw it back into the charger, it blinks 8 times and then dies out. When i screw my personal Spinner onto the battery, it stays lit up until it is full so i know its charging. These new batts will not charge though. Did i just get two duds?

Why don't I have to turn my eGo Twists on? When I plug them in to charge, it doesn't matter if they are on or off, it just automatically goes into the charging mode. Well, I don't own Spinners, so I guess they could be different.

It's not that they either need to be on or off to charge - this guy's friends batteries came in the OFF position and it didn't dawn on them right away that that might be the case, that's all :)

But, but, but, when I first got my Twists, I started charging them without turning them on. Is the Spinner different? Do they have to be turned on first for the initial charge? Is it different thereafter?

Of that I'm not positive, though a friend of mine got a 1300 mAh Spinner from GotVapes a couple weeks ago and hers definitely were shipped in the OFF position.

All I can say is okey dokie kimosabe! My Twists were shipped in the off position. They automatically turn on when a charge is applied.
