Hello
@joesmart8, and welcome.
Making the big leap into quitting is hard enough with out set backs. That is a good starter kit, but like always you might have bought the one slightly "off" unit. Most likely its the connection. Happened to me with my first real set up similar to yours.
Im sure if you go back they will take care of you. Either they can show you what someone mentioned about the connection to the unit etc, or if your clearo is properly seated.
Thanks Racey for help. I too do notice some not so helpful suggestions being given.
Really? Tape? with all the bad press all we, and the OP needs is to have something go bad....
WHen I started up It took me a couple purchases to get it right and if I would have started with what Im using now I would not have quit.
The last thing someone needs when they are going thru the physical and emotional side effects of giving up cigarettes is frustration. Frustration in learning simple and new is hard enough. Throw in rebuilding, etc. Im glad I started off with a cig-a-like. It felt like a cigarette and psychologically I needed that. I was happy and it got me off cigarettes and then I stepped up to KGO and clearo and the rest is history.
If I had been handed the best of the best at the time, I would have scoffed and laughed. Id a thought what the heck, I feel like a freak. I would have been like going from a cigarette to a baseball bat sized cigar.
I was in it all alone, no
vape buddies so I came here and got a lot of great help. I went to a great local vape store that showed me a nice starter kit and they took the time to show me all I needed.
If I had gone in to the average vape store today, It might have turned me completely off. MOst have a lot of young people sitting around blowing clouds and taking gear and scoffing at every beginner and giggling like little mean high school girls. If I had seen someone like most of the reviewers on YT. Id a said NO WAY, I rather agonize over cold turkey or let the cancer kill me.
Just a rant, and Im sure it will cause problems but I feel I have to remind some of the "pros" out there that not everyone buys a Ferrari the first time they decide to drive.
