Battery Issue with Vapor Flask/ Dna 40

When I took mine apart, the brass thing was already tight. All it took for mine was tightening the screws on the top to fix it.
May be worth giving that a shot before actually taking it apart.

I believe this is the one where they talk about the twisted. Sorry It's long and Brandon mentions the twisted Ni200/Kanthal but I don't know where in the video.
