anyone know or test if a high drain 16340 (cr123) from AW would handle a booster board? They arent far off from the 14500's in mah.
For the most part it's always about how much current cells can provide. At CPF the AW guy said their Li-Ion 10440's have a max discharge rate of 600mA. That's really quite pathetic.So the 10440's don't pack enough punch. What about some other smaller batts? I'm sure there must be a size that has enough power to satisfy but small enough to make smaller mods with.

I don't know what you mean by that. The 130450 battery can produce 2-3 Amps in 10 second bursts without really breaking a sweat. As a matter of fact, it can produce 5 times that.....
Those are nice little batts right there in that link, too bad it's on Alibaba lol but those might be worth a shot.
