Battery Life For Riva 510

I thought I read somewhere on this site Riva batteries normally last for 300 charges, but when I check LF site they said guaranteed for two months. Thought I would ask people who have Rivas, about how long does the battery last?

I will be upgrading to a mod, vv, LT or something in a few weeks so I don't want to waste money on more Riva batteries.

On avg the proprietary battery PVs (eGo, Riva, kGo) get 250-350 charge cycles. That is generalized though, some will last longer and some will die before.

Non-proprietary batteries are def the way to go. They are a lot cheaper and last alot longer too. I use an Epower which is like a Riva/kGo, but uses non-proprietary batteries like a tube mod and I've been using the same batteries for months and months and they still last like the day I got them.

i had my ego batts for a year they still work as far as i know i don't have them anymore

Thanks, looks like I won't have to buy anymore. I'll put that money towards my new pv. Decisions, desicions, so much to choose from ...lol

Commonly they say over 300 cycles for these type batteries.
My batteries are lasting over a year & an eGo battery from 1st kit 1 year 9 mos. later is still running- probably over 500 cycles!

....and on the other hand I've had 3 out of 4 Riva 650 mah batteries die in less than a month

I have 8 750mah Rivas bought back in August...6 are going strong, 2 died back just before Christmas but, I think a bad charger took 'em out(or vice versa)...these have been used exclusively with 1.7ohm cartos..........

My Rivas only tended to last a month or two and I got tired of that. I decided to order a battery charger, some 14500's, and a foxy box 5V box from Godzilla to use on a daily basis. My batteries last longer, the throat hit is just right for me, and my system is much cheaper in the long run.
