I'm currently going through my first round of kgo and ego twist batteries. At what point do they get so bad you just toss them? I have 4 kgos that just don't vape like they used to, not a lot of vapor and they are cool to vape not warm. I just put them in a box for now.

I'm currently using 4 c twists that are still working really well but I have to charge them more frequently. Plus I tend to end up having 2 on chargers at the same time. They do seem to take longer to charge too.

Thankfully I have 3 brand new twists but I don't want to start using them until I know for sure these current batteries are finished.

When do you finally toss a KGO or EGO twist?

Thanks hrlw. So batteries just kind of fade out rather than stopping suddenly? I forgot to mention I have either 900 or 1100 mah batteries.

I tossed one of my eGo 650mah batteries a few days ago. The eGo's will last about 300 recharges. I would assume the KGO batteries are about the same. Mine would only hold a charge for about 4 hours before it was dead again.

I can't say for sure. I would assume some would just quit working, while others will "fade out" like you say. This is the first eGo battery I have used (actually have 2 of them) that has been going downhill. My other eGo battery still works just fine. I bought both of them at the same time.

Ok..well I'll just keep using these until they stop working. So thankful for my backup c twists ready to spring into action. It just helps to know what to expect. Thanks again for your help.

Now I have time to research and see if I want to try an upgrade. hmmmmm so many choices. I do know that I would want a battery with a battery indicator bar not just the number of volts left. I'd never remember the number :) The KGO vv needs some work before I'll buy that one. I may just step it up a notch and go for the kind that works like a flashlight. The kind with removable batteries. So many choices but at least I'm not in a hurry. I can take my time.

This is one that just came out, it's a GS V Core mod that has a battery meter.

I tossed one of my eGo 650 batteries the other day, as well. It flashed like it was dead, but then would not light up the charger, and would no longer light when I pressed the button. The battery was over a year-and-a-half old, though. By my calculation, it was probably charged around 450 times or so.

Thanks Smokin..I'll do my best to try to remember you when the batteries are officially dead. They still have some life in them for now.

And thanks Atom for the dead battery tip. Ok..I'll just keep vaping away on these c twists until the charger doesn't light up anymore. But that may be hard to do..I have a Vari-Tube in the mail. Super excited about that. It was quite a process to narrow it down..but I think this is theeee one for me.

Thanks for the comment Chiphead. I knew mine weren't lasting as long when I had two on chargers at the same time. It happens quite frequently now. I'm still using the same 4 but I always keep an extra in my pocket when I go on breaks. It's such a bummer to run out of battery power in the middle of a bunch of smokers. Not that I'm tempted to smoke..it's just that they are doing their thing and I can't do mine. wah! :) I'm learning to keep that extra battery with me now.

I have two twist 1000 mah that I've used just about exclusivly for 90 days and they are starting to not last as long. I can see a definite downward trend.
