Just wondering what kind of use people are getting out of their infinity batteries. I've been alternating two sets for a little over 3 months and now both are just about dead. They hold a charge for a few draws and crap out. I ordered two more sets, but it sure is going to be a rough week ahead waiting for them. I would have thought they would slowly drop off not just all at once like they have.

Your charger could be going south ? if you have a voltmeter test them off the charger they should be 4.2 volts fully charged ,.

My buddy I work with has an infinity and the same charger. Same thing happens on his charger as well. I never used LR atty's on them.

That seems odd - I am at 4 or 5 months and my 2 sets of batteries are going strong. More information would help.

What is the resistance of the cartos or attys you use and at what voltage do you use them?
What is the charge on the batteries when you pull them off the charger?
What is the charge left on the batteries when the infinity won't operate any longer?
What charger are you using?

What contributes to premature battery death is:
Constant overcharging;
Constant under depletion;
Regularly drawing too much current;
Regularly charging at too high a current.

Or you might have just gotten some duds - it happens.

I'm not sure what the resistance is. I used regular joye 510 attys and "expert" branded 510 from litecigusa. None were listed as LR. Also used a few hv attys from ikenvape. Used some cheap $1 cartos from ikenvape too, but not for long as I didn't care for them. I usually vape just below the the middle hash mark on the dial. Sorry I can't be more technical than that. I don't have a meter. Also I can't tell you what the batteries are reading before and after. The charger is a trustfire multi functional unit that was sent with my kit. I would usually drain them until dead and place on charger and leave them on until the other set was drained. Could that be a problem? I never took them off even after the lights turned green.

That shouldn't matter, I have mine on there sometimes for 24hrs. The charger is a smart charger and quits charging when they're charged. Even if it didn't they have protection circuits on them. I take it the $1.00 ones from Ikenvape were the Platinum Premiums and they are okay. I've used them before without any problems.
