I just started vaping the other day..... smoked a pack and a half to two packs of analogs a day prior... I wanna quit totaly but my cheepo (super expensive) pv battery life is half assed at best... so at work by noon oneish I end up having gone thru my two batteries needin to fire up an analog...cheepo (super expensive) DC charger dosent work so no charging in my truck outlet. ( down from two packs a dayish, so Im currently ok with it) but I guess I need a better pv.

So Im lookin for info on what I should buy.... first thing, great battery life, smallish is cool but Im open, needs to hit good (obviously) and Id like it to be fairly simple with not to much maintenence and what not. Dosent really matter if it looks like a cigarette or not....

Any suggestions?

Here's the roughstack from madvapes:
RoughStack V2
Here's the kit (batteries, charger, etc)
RoughStack V2 Kit
These hold 18350 batteries. (18 is the diameter of the battery in mm (roughly 3/4"), 350 is the length of the battery (about 1-1/2").

Here's the GLV2 Mini:
GLV-2 Mini 3.7 Volt Electronic Cigarette [GLV-2-MINI] - $95.00 : Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid - Great Lakes Vapor
There's also the super mini. But I haven't looked into that one at all.

mAh is effectively the "storage" capacity of the battery. I think estimates are roughly 100 mAh per hour. So, a 900 mAh battery should last you roughly 9 hours. Give or take. But since you're a 2 PAD (pack a day), I'd suggest you carry an extra battery or 2 with you.

These mods take single batteries which are rated at 3.7 v. I'd suggest you get some LR (Low Resistance) atty's to get that good hit.

I think a pair of 900 mAh batts would serve your needs just fine, demon72. By not putting all of your eggs in one battery, you get a lot more choices for models. Just make sure everything you get is 510 compatible, and you can change your PV one part at a time without buying all new gear when you want to try something new.

Good luck to you! :toast:

Everyone forgot to ask you what kind of PV did you get. Or from where did you get it. Without knowing what kind of PV you originally got its hard to make a good suggestion. So what kind of PV did you originally buy?

Hunter, I swear I ain't stalking you...

I believe that at full charge, the Lithium batteries discharge at 4.2V. But after use, the discharge drops to 3.7 (it's a sharp decline, like a roller coaster, as opposed to dropping off a cliff). But others will have to chime in on adjustable. I'm aware of them, but don't know much about them. At the top is the provari and the darwin. Then there's the Buzz, Infinity, and I think a'lil has a vv(?).

Demon, I had no problems ordering from madvapes. Being up in Canada, I can't comment on shipping as customs wanted to stare at my box. So it took me 2 weeks. I've read they're relatively fast. Typically your order goes out the next day at the latest.

One more thing for Hunter, here's a discharge graph from Redilast batteries. I'm going to make an assumption that other makers have somewhat similar dropoffs.

For more information, head on over to battery university (I've just skimmed their pages, but there's a boatload of stuff to read).

at 4mehealth i think all of those are on the expensive side to me. I been using a riva for like six months, just hooked it up to a voltage meter and it is around 3.3, I am doing fine with it, just thought maybe could get a little more kick with something higher, might end up making my own if i can find the time or a buddy to make me one?
