I'm doing research on my first VV/VW device and I have a battery question. I currently have an Ego-C and the battery lasts pretty much all day. I was watching a vid on a provari mini on the provari site and they mention the battery lasting from a few hours to all day. How is it possible for a bigger battery to only last as long as what I currently own? I use a Kanger T3 and Vision Nano clearomisers and the battery seems to drain faster using the Kanger. Do ohms play into battery life? I can't justify spending Provari (or close to Provari money) and only get 3 hrs of vape time. I need a device that will last AT LEAST as long as my Ego-C. I'm not opposed to buying, charging and keeping extra batteries with me. Is that what I should figure with most VV/VW devices? Thanks in advance.

The milliamp hours (mAh) is important. Your eGo battery is probably a 650 mAh, and as a general rule you'll get an hour from 100 mAh, so your 650 one should last 6.5 hours. Obviously it's a general rule so if you're vaping less you'll get more time. Depending on which Provari setup you choose they can take 18350 batteries (around 800 mAh), 18500 mAh batteries (around 1100 mAh), or 18650 batteries (around 2000 mAh) so even the smallest should last you about a quarter more time than your current eGo. The biggest should last around three times more time than your eGo.

I wouldn't worry too much about it running out, just make sure you get at least one spare battery. I pretty much chain vape my Provari Mini at home with good quality AW IMR 18500's (1100mAh) and I get about 8 hours from one.

I believe my Ego-C is 1100 MAh and I use it in low fire.

Sorry that was me being presumptuous (big word for me on a Saturday lol). I'm sure you'll already know this but the standard Provari uses an 18500 battery, or an 18650 if you buy the optional extension cap. The Provari Mini uses 18350, or 18500 with the same extension cap. You can also get aftermarket extensions to allow you to use 18650's in the Mini (Tatroe Ring, or Twins for example). I got the Mini cos it's smaller when I want it to be, but can be as big as it's big brother if desired.

The 18500's will perform around the same as your current eGo. I say "around the same" because I note you use your eGo on "low fire". I'm not exactly familiar with your particular battery but I assume it changes the output volts for low/med/high. With the Provari (and lots of other mods) you can change the output volts by 0.1 volt increments, so you might end up setting higher volts and therefore you'll get less time from your battery.

Hope this helps rather than confuses
