Battery matching?

Hi!
I hope to have my Ali'i back in hand soon, and just discovered my batteries are mixed up laying in a drawer! I know I should have marked them..I have a p-touch that will do just that soon.
Now my question is:
Is there a way to measure each battery to find the best two to pair together?

I believe they are 16340s stacked for the VV.
Or CR123s? Either way they are not paired up.

Check their max voltage at full charge and internal resistance. A good video for checking batteries' internal resistance: How to test the internal resistance of a battery
