I have 2 510 mega batteries, one dead and one good. So last evening I get this bright ideal to check the dead one with my multimeter just for kicks. This is a analog multimeter, I set the dial at 50 DC and touch the red lead to the positive (center) post and the black lead to the thread area of the battery. no reading at all. I then switch the multimeter to 5 DC and do the same still no reading. So just to make sure the multimeter is working I tried testing the good battery. It moved the needle from 0 to about 3 so I figured this to be correct since these are suppose to be rated at around 3.2.

I then put the good battery on the charger for the night and go to bed. When I get up this morning the good one is dead. the light on the end comes on but it does not fire a atomizer or cartomizer at all. Was this something I did or was it just this battery's time to die?

I ordered two new ones from madvapes and I don't think I will be testing them with my multimeter. Any advice on what I might done to kill the battery. Is there any chance of it working again. I could really use some good advice.

Thanks

One thought, if I touched the probes in the wrong place........Like maybe the ground touched the positive by mistake would this kill the battery...........
