i have 2 protected 14650 batteris 1050mah. Sat. morning I put battery A in my e-power and a minute later I had heat in my pocket and really hot PV. took the battery out and put in the other battery (B). the switch on the epower seems fine. was in a rush so didnt get back to it til later. Battery A no longer works. when I use my cheap multimeter, it shows no volts. when i test Battery B on the 10v setting, it shows 9v. When I put it on the 50v setting Battery B shows 10v. Is this even possible? The charger does not seem to change it. Battery B is no longer lasting more than a few puffs on the battery. What gives? I know my multimeter is cheap or rather I have no idea whether it is calibrated correctly. I am guessing Batt A is dead and Batt B is really low on voltage and not working correctly? Thanks for you help with this! BTW e-power is regulated to 3.7v.
