Battery Problem

I have a regular, 78mm sealed volt battery that I've had awhile. I used it for a couple of weeks and started having problems with it so I just put it aside. Today I tried lifting the battery post and it worked, but the post keeps sliding back down and just won't stay in position.

Anybody know how to fix this?

Are you switching between cartos? Sometimes one has a longer or shorter post. A longer one will push the battery post back in. Then, when you put on a different carto/clearo/whatever that has a shorter post, it doesn't make good contact.

No, it's the same carto and it works great on my other batteries. It's weird how far the post slides down. I was hoping there was something I could do with it, but I may just have to write this one off which I hate because when it does work I really like it.

If it's fairly new (couple months or less), contact customer service. They're good folks.
