Hi all,

I've been e-smoking for over a month now and don't bother with analoges anymore. I have the 84mm e-cig and its great, same size as a normal cigarette but whilst I understand that the batteries are smaller they all seem to work differently ie some hard to drag through, some run out virtually as soon as you start using and some great. I have four batteries, is it just the fact that I have some bad batteries or is it something I'm doing? do the chargers ruin the batts if left on too long or do they go to a "charged mode", its hard to watch a charging battery!!! its inevitable to go over sometimes. Any thoughts?

Cheers

Geoff

Li-on batteries are not supposed to have a memory and others with battery experience have posted on here that leaving them on the charger will not harm them.

You probably have some that are better than others. I'm not sure if they make a USB pass-through for your model but if they do, I would consider getting one. They have them for the 901, 801, Dura-C/510. I would use them with a USB wall adapter and then at least when you are home you won't have the batter issue. Here is the one I got and it works great. Thanks for that info! I too have trouble keeping track of how long the darn things have been plugged in. I had read advice from several sources to be careful not to over charge them. Not worrying about it so much leaves more of my sanity for plenty of things in my life that demand it.

I currently have four batteries and one of them is wonky. Just doesn't work as the others do. I'd love to try a pass-through as well but have read one can get spoiled when on the go, needing to use a battery. Is this true?

I would say that is true. Some members use the pass-through on the go by using it with a battery pack. It needs to be a 1000 mAh output battery pack. It's been reported that you can get several days charge time out of these. Many members like the Kennsington or APC.

Kennsington:

Hoping you see this wv2win, That link you posted for the USB wall adapter.. Do you know if you can buy that at radio shack, best buys or some such?

I not sure if you can purchase that particular brand but I know Radio Shack has the usb wall adapters. What's most important is that it is 5 volt - 1A.

Hope this helps.
