New to vaping, but I vape a lot!! I have an ego c twist which I think is a fake and a aspire cf vv. the ego does within a couple hours and I'm lucky to get 4-6 out of the aspire. Looking for something that will get me through the day and I can charge at night. Please any help lol!

What's the difference between an ileaf and the itaste MVP 2.0? They're relatively the same thing aren't they except for a few things like smaller size, wattage and charging capabilities and also price. Which is the better off the two? Because I was thinking of buying an itaste because my vision spinner battery is crap .

The MVP2 is less powerful but tried and reliable--and accurate. And a more powerful version (MVP3) with Evolv DNA chipset is about to be released. May be worth a wait.

Eleaf iStick is widely inaccurate and temperamental--and it's still a gamble--it may last or may die within weeks. I'd wait for version 2.

If you want something that has been proven to be reliable and last on the charge for a couple of days at a time.
I'd go with an MVP 2..
Mine i've had for over a year now and it's not even slowed down a step..I used it every one of those days too..
Never one time did i go to hit it and it not hit because the charge was low..

I have more powerful vapes here that will blast clouds, but if i'm going away from the house, like to work or gonna be gone for a good while..
I reach for reliability and leave the sports cars at home :vapor:

Thousands & thousands of isticks have been sold. There are maybe a handful having problems on the eleaf thread. I haven't heard anyone, that owns one, say they wouldn't buy another.

I bought an MVP earlier in the year and kept it for about a month before I resold it. The eGo connector and location of the fire button were the first things I didn't like. I haven't seen anything about the MVP3, but hopefully it will have a 510 connection.

I bought 2 iSticks. I LOVE the small form factor. One of my co-workers who only uses mechs tried my blue iStick last week and thought it hit harder than his mech with a fully charged battery. I ended up giving it to him.

It might be good to compare specs of the MVP2 vs iStick.

MVP2.0

eGo connector
2600 mah battery
Variable Voltage:3.3 – 5.0
VariableWattage: 6.0 – 11.0W
Fires down to .8 ohm
Passthrough / Vape While Charging Technology
ON/OFF battery switch: 10 seconds cutoff:
Size : 23*41*107mm

iStick

510 connector
2200mAh battery
Variable Voltage: 3.3 – 5.5 volts
Variable Wattage: Up to 20W
Fires 1ohm to 3ohm
Passthrough / Vape While Charging Technology
ON/OFF battery switch: 10 seconds cutoff
Size: 75mm*21mm*32.8mm

Do you know the maH (battery size) of the twist and/or the aspire? I'm guessing the ego is 900-1100 maH. Not sure about the aspire. Like you, I almost always have my vape in my hand, and shorter-lived batteries don't last very long for me :D

I have MVPs, but no iStick. You can get an adapter for the iStick so it can be 510/eGo threaded (like the MVP) I hear that people who try to run the iStick at lower voltages/wattages, it runs "hotter" than you might expect. A topper that runs on your aspire at 4V "might" burn with the iStick set at 4V, so you'd have to back the iStick down. I like my MVPs, but the size of the iStick is appealing.

Because it does--it hits about 1 volt higher, on average--than it should. Which may be very annoying for people who have never heard about "Eleaf volts" or for low wattage vapers. The lowest voltage it can deliver is ~4.2v--in it's 3v setting.

Here's a chart that shows iStick's voltage output:

I don't know the actual numbers, but the 510 connection is very poorly made and more and more people are having problems with sinking contact pin and poor insulation causing shorts. Many are trying to fix the problem at home by pushing the pin up and propping it with an o-ring, sometimes breaking the connection to the battery.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ion/601111-eleaf-istick-272.html#post14547635

I know that many love their iSticks--but I wouldn't recommend it to ayone, especially a new vaper, as a primary device. Too many problems. Ismoka needs to go back to the drawing board and make a better battery. Which, by the way, they are doing.

I haven't heard anyone, that owns one, say they wouldn't buy another.

;) Just from the last page of the thread:

If you are fairly new I would recommend the MVP. Theoretically the Istick has some advantages but:
  • the power regulation is not accurate and runs high. This means that if you prefer lower settings it won't work well for you. Out of 20+ clearos that I own the only one I will run on the Istick is the Aspire Nautilus. If you like dual coils they also might work.
  • It only has a 510 connector. The MVP works with either 510 or ego.
  • Now that has been out for awhile people are having problems with the 510 connector. The threading is soft, sometimes rough, and it is part of the top of the device, so it can't be replaced. A number of us are using the ego adapter to deal with these issues, which kind of negates the advantage (?) of only having the 510.
  • Some people are also having issues with the charging. I know that despite the official rating of the battery a charge on my Istick does not last as long as one on my MVP does.

Yes, the MVP does have some issues as well.
  • The most common, an issue with the 510 pin getting pushed down has an easy fix that, it turns out, is also coming in handy for the same problem on the Istick.
  • It is larger (though not much heavier) which can be a problem if you have small hands.
  • The firing button can be hard to push if you have any kind of hand problems. This is why I decided to try the Istick.
  • It doesn't have as high power settings. This can be a problem for some people using some toppers.

Thousands & thousands of isticks have been sold. There are maybe a handful having problems on the eleaf thread. I haven't heard anyone, that owns one, say they wouldn't buy another.

Well, now you have. I'll wait for the MVP3 like I should have to start with.
