Battery puzzle with Protank

Okay, I put my Vision spinner on the charger after vaping with my Kanger Protank all morning, then put the tank on one of my 1100 MaH batteries and no vape! None at all, zero! I tried the other 1100 battery, same thing! No vape! Nothing. It was working fine on the Vision spinner just a minute ago, but on the smaller batteries just nothing at all!

So I put an Inokin iClear 16 on the 1100 batteries, and they vape just fine. Put the Protank back on them, nothing, nada, zilch!

What can be going on here? Those batteries worked fine with the Protank in the past, but now they don't work at all with that tank, and the tank works fine with the Vision 1300... I don't get it.

Hiya mate, hope you are well. I have this problem but, it's not your battery well for me it isn't. I have some coils that do not screw in fully down to the bottom part of the protanks 510 connection so i have a few ego batteries and some coils work on some and some don't, The coil wont screw in far enough to make a connection to the battery in my case. This is with the Stock ProTank 1.8Ohm coils that was provided..the evod coils work just fine though

Ah!!!! Got it! thank you so very much, I just needed to screw the coil down in the head, it was loose! Good deal! Hope you are vaping well down under

slightly pull the pin out of the bottom of the coil and you will get a connection, that will help your problem.

I often have to use a 510-510 adapter with many of my Protanks. They have a 510 connection that is kind of finicky. You should get a 510-510 adapter to have around in case you run into this issue again.

Also what Jazzi said is true alot of the time i find the connection to be funny but with a 510 to 510 it normally always works!

Hiya again, i thought i would add that if you do use a 510 to 510, personally i use it alot of the time because it tends to tighten the draw for the ProTank also,

Would a skirt work the same or the adapter better air flow restriction?

The skirt being one of those beauty ring's that comes with the ProTank ?
Personally i think its the same as using it without a ring, i think they just literally make it more appealing to look at.
The adapter for me makes it a bit of a tighter draw, it might just be the adapter i brought i don't know. I'd say if you like the nice airy draw from that standard ProTank don't use the adapter and if you want a slightly more tight draw, Its not mega tight like some clearo's, it only tightens is a little then go for using an adapter
It's all personal preference, can't hurt to try either
The only reason i have an adapter is because i got this VV Mod, its just a simple one a Kamry X6 and the well is a bit deep so the ProTank can't make a connection so i have to use the adapter on it.
