I wouldn't put any battery with "fire" in the name in anything I own. I just don't trust 'em, simple as that; strike one.

I'm pretty sure they're all unsafe chemistry ICR batteries, strike two.

The 3000 mAh also suggests it has a pretty limited continuous amp rating; I wouldn't be surprised if it were 2 amps or less. Strike three.

This is my battery bible. I use Samsung 25R's, for the record.

Regardless of the name, after I did a quick Google search, I WOULD NOT use this battery in a Sub Ohm build or in fact, any other Vaporizing device that I am holding only inches away from my face. As Readeuler stated above, it's best to buy from reputable Vaping sources only, and I'm not saying that a vaping vendor didn't sell you these batteries...they are out there. Do your research and spend a few extra bucks if necessary...your safety is worth it, right? Good luck!

I used VTC3's when I first started out and then upgraded to VTC4's. I have yet to try out the VTC5's but I can say both the VTC3's and 4's By Sony (18650) are great. If you plan to Vape sub ohm I would look into picking up one of those. However, please consider I recommend the VTC3's and 4's because I have extensive personal experience with both and have had no problems whatsoever with them. I recognize that there are other good options out on the market but from my experience I would recommend going with Sony's VTC line.

Vape safe! :)

I highly recommend you spend some time with Baditude (one of our resident battery experts) and visit his blogs. Baditudes Blogs. The blogs regarding batteries, Ohm's Law and amp draw are listed below:

BATTERIES

9. Battery Basics for Mods: IMR or Protected ICR?
* Another essential read to understand which batteries are safe to use in mechanical and regulated mods. Includes a frequently updated list of recommended safe-chemistry, high-drain batteries with their specifications.

17. Purple Efest Batteries not as Advertised
* A cautionary blog that reveals that the purple Efest batteries may not have the specifications advertised. Also includes a commentary on "continuous discharge ratings" vs "pulse discharge ratings" of battery specs.

OHM'S LAW

14. Ohm's Law for Dummies (Vapers)
* My attempt at explaining Ohm's Law in layman terms and how it relates to vaping.

16. Explain it to the Dumb Noob: Ohm's Law Calculations
* As simple as it is to use, some people have a tough time grasping the concept. Warning: Includes graphic photos of mod explosions.

BATTERIES - WHERE TO BUY

Only buy batteries from a reputable supplier (not ebay or Amazon) as there are many counterfeit batteries being sold. Here are several reputable battery suppliers in the US.

* RTD Vapor
* Illumination Supply
* Lighthound
* Orbtronics

Listen to these people. Take your trust fires and put them in a flashlight.

Get yourself some Samsung 25R's or some sony VTC4's (Authentic batteries from a reputable dealer). If you find VTC5's and they're less than $30 each, they are as fake as my ex-wife's personality. If they're on ebay - they're fake. If they're on Amazon - they're fake.

Just my opinion but I would rather have my face than the few dollars I saved by buying batteries from "Shipped by Crazy Eddie's Discount Warehouse".

Good luck and thank you for coming here with such a critical question.

Also, Halifax is AWESOME!
