I am a 45 day noob, so still learning.
I have a Provape with AW 14500-750 batteries

Battery's that I have are about 45 days old. The first 30 days, they held the 8 hour charge,
which is one of the reasons I went this way from the start.

In the last 5 days or so, the batteries were holding 6 hours or so
In the last 2 days, they are holding about 3 hours or so.

Questions:
1. How long is the battery life for this type, typically. I am not a heavy vaporer...
2. Is there anything that I might have "done" to start this decrease in the charge. (appears that
the charger is ok... but not sure if they go bad)
3. I have read about the 16340 batteries...any better ?...will it work in the Provape...???
4. Where is best place/price to get batteries of this type.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts/suggestions.

Batteries....there so many variables when it comes to batteries. Add in the PCB protection circuit on protected batteries and that just adds to the crapshoot. I have literally lived on batteries of all types since I was a kid. I've been an R/C (radio control) hobbyist most of my life along with other electronics hobbies.

Here is my opinion and suggestion(s);
You got 45 days out of a rechargeable battery that gets cycled every day. That's good.
Since a PV is something that gets carried around with us everywhere it takes it's share of abuse.
A 14500 Li battery (from MadVapes) is less than five bucks (I know I know....some swear by the AWs. TrustFire 14500s have been perfect for me so far). Get a few into your inventory and rotate through them.

Granny, did you do anything different? Did you switch to a LR atty that may be consuming more power or perhaps the atty ohms have dropped. Change to a different atty. Try to clean the contacts between you battery and charger, may not be charging fully. Try this before buying new batteries.
