Just received my GLV2. First electronic I've ever used. I got the charger and batteries from Jay. I only ordered one set. I notice the charger says don't charge over 4 hours. When am I supposed to charge? I don't think I am supposed to charge for 1/2 an hour here and there.

Should I buy another set of batteries from store (not enough time to get from Jay since I am going on vacation) if so what ones? thanks.

You should definitely have at least two sets of batteries for your GLV-2. The best batteries to use are the protected AW ICR123s like Jay sells but protected 16340s will also work.

Not sure if you'll be able to find either in a store; there's battery store (who'd have thought) in my town and last time I checked, they didn't stock either.

According to Battery University, you can actually prolong the life of your lithium ion batteries by topping off the charge frequently rather than waiting for them to fully discharge. Recharging them at 50% will triple their lifespan!

If you can take a break from vaping for a couple of hours, your one set may just last you until you can find a second (and maybe a third) pair.

Have fun on your vacation!
