You could try an eRoll. Very small and cig-like, and can be vaped hands-free fairly easily. Only 90 mah so the battery life is not that long, but you can pop it in and out of its PCC complete (without unscrewing the battery from the atty), so you can vape, then pop it back in the PCC to top off the battery between vapes.

Why use eRoll over standard 510T? A fraction of cost, same functions, actually better since you would have 2 batteries to swap in and out of the PCC.

I never get why people use eRoll. Just for the pretty iPod-y looks?

I ordered the volt x 2 battery as it will work with the 808 cartomizers I already have and just found out today from a video on smokless image products that it is also threaded to work with all ego type delivery systems from other places. I think it will work for me for now and allow me to try other products later....thanks to those who mentioned this to me

For someone who asked for something cheap and simple, this seems like quite the opposite. Cartos do the same job with or without the tank, and the superiority of Vivi Novas etc over cartos are debatable.

... I do agree that 510 is a better choice overall though. When/if the need for something new comes, like VV and tanks, then anything but 510 would be pointless.
You have a point regarding cost since she already has a set up going. However, I don't think the set up I mentioned would be considered difficult. Most of my coworkers had no trouble figuring out how to work with it.

My 808 cartos were just a pain (especially at work) to deal with in regards to having to re-up the juice frequently under the scrutinizing eyes of clueless coworkers. I actually don't think that vivis are superior, rather more convenient to use due to visual reference, capacity and no leaking issues (in my experience). The thing I don't like about cartos...is it's harder to swap juices int the same carto due to filler material and having to replace them often for the best taste. Beginner user error like over filling or accidentally dry burning was also an issue for me since I had a hard time figuring out how how saturated the filler actually was.

Thanks.....and you are correct I really only have time to vape maybe 3 to 4 times while at work......You really can only sneak into the bathroom so many times in a 12 hour period before people start to think you have a problem. Most people I work with don't know I smoke or vape and I want to keep it that way. I really want to be able to chain vape on the way home though. My other battery was dead by the time I left work which is really frustrating then I have to go home and pass the gas station which makes me want a real cig.....and I can't vape till I get home and charge the battery for 2 hrs....really was ready to go back to smoking before I heard of the battery options out there. I ordered the volt x2 and I think it will work for me for awhile and get me off real cigs, that is my main goal right now. I may upgrade later but first I want to quit smoking with something that is easy to use and makes me forget about smoking. I feel your posts have helped me alot....Thanks more than you know....

I bet my coworkers think I have some serious GI problems. LOL. You should be fine with your set up, folks here gave you sound advice/opinions and have logical constructive criticism towards my input.

Initially I too went for the "cig-alikes", but my initial plan was to use vaping as a tool to get off analogs and then stop all together. However for me, those intentions have changed. I enjoy it very much and see no immediate reasons to stop- for the time being. The same pleasures of smoking can be achieved with vaping without the same risks of smoking. My primary MD had no reservations on my last physical with me vaping.

What is important is that you find a set up that works for you in mind of budget and satisfaction. If a set up is not working, read up on these forums and find one that you think will. You may spend more than you anticipated in the process till you find your niche, but in the end it is all worth it to avoid the path that (in our profession, are all too familiar with) analogs lead to.

I too am recently re-entering the world of vaping after having one brief stint with it in the past. The cig-a-like systems are a nice transition piece. Just enough maybe to get you to cut down or perhaps off completely from analog cigs. That being said however, their short lives means either A) springing for a larger system or B) buying several extra batteries and keeping them in rotation so you have charge when you want it. Essentially, by the time you have bought an extra 2 (or more) batteries for your cig-a-like system, you could have purchased a fuller system with a discount that will satisfy.

For me personally I ordered the Halo G6 kit which is a cig-a-like. Just got it in the mail today too, Halo does ship FAST. But I bought it knowing full well from past experience that it is unlikely to be the full answer. I bought it to reintroduce myself to e-cigs, it looked quality, good reviews etc. Now I'm shopping around for the type of larger setup that will last a lot longer like when I'm at home, etc.

Ultimately, much of this kind of thing comes down to personal preference and individual budget. The way I figure it is this. I pay almost $50 a carton of analog smokes, and usually go through about a carton a week. This Halo system, as an example, cost about $55 and then only the cost of some extra cartos and juice. So in the end you're going to save money, unless you geek out really hard and buy every new flashy thing.

Not only that, but you will have a much wider range of flavor options after some experimenting as to what you will like/not like. You'll not smell like smokes, and once you have a setup (or 2, or 15) that suit you....probably very low maintenance costs.

Welcome to the world of vaping, glad to have you.

You have to disassemble a 510 to put it in the PCC; the eRoll pops in to its PCC complete - less fussing about and the battery charge is constantly topped off when you pop it out to vape (and then I don't have to keep the battery I am using in a pocket, it stays inside a clean case). I find that more convenient than disassembling a 510 and swapping batteries back and forth in a PCC, which I usually would have to do several times per night. I liked my 510's, but the one thing I was never happy with was the 510 PCCs (and I tried several types of models) - they always seemed to be cheap and poorly designed. I was finally at the point where it was less hassle to leave the house with 5 or 6 510 batteries in a case than screw around with a crappy PCC.

I never get why people use eRoll. Just for the pretty iPod-y looks?

I do not own an i-anything (I am not a fan of Apple products). I like the eRoll because it is a compact cig-alike that is simple and easy to carry and use. Which is important to me when I am out and about. But that is just my preference.
