well it depends on what batteries you're looking for...but I don't see a whole lot of difference between them other than ones trustfire and one's ultrafire...and some dont even have that on the label...seems the trend is that people trust and like AW batteries more though they are more expensive....and the new AW high drain safe chemestry LiMN batteries look even nicer and more promising if you're looking for something in the 18650 and CR123 sizes.. take a look at lighthound.com

I'd guess that they're different levels of quality. A lot of manufacturers categorize their batteries into different levels, depending on how well the new batteries test out when they're made. subtle differences can make 2 batteries from the same manufacturing lot perform differently.

the AWs are an example of top-quality batteries. They out-perform most other batteries, even though they're the same "type".
