Battery Question

So, about a year ago, I ordered a 35A 3000 mAh HG2 and really liked it. So, I ordered two more. Problem is, I did not pay attention to detail when I ordered them. These are 20A 3000 mAh. I have not used these, yet. I am concerned they are not strong enough for an SX Mini ML class running 316SS Klapton coils at 0.27-0.32 ohms of resistance, anywhere from 30 joules to 50 joules. I never go above that. Are these safe to run at these specifications? Thanks.

For a Regulated mod, the Ohms that you use doesn't effect the Amp Draw on the Battery. The Wattage and the Low Voltage Cut-Off (the Voltage that the Mod Stops working at) is what you need to consider.

For a Single Battery Regulated Mod, with a Low Voltage Cut-Off of 3.6v, as long as you stay bellow 60 Watts you should be Fine with a 20A CDR Battery.

It is a 20A INR. Any different in your opinion?

No... Not Really.

An INR Battery is considered to be a Safe Chemistry. And it gives the Safety of IMR but with Higher mAh than IMR.

The LG HG2 18650 3000mAh is a Great 20A Battery IMO.
