Which battery depends on how much wattage you intend to use. Higher drain batteries hold less amps but will reach higher wattages more efficiently. If you don’t plan to go over 40w 15amp 3000ma batteries are your best bet. You still won’t be able to get to a real 100w though. It requires battery drain levels that don’t actually exist. Rewrap batteries are usually garbage but there are a few that are not so bad. See Mooch's blog | E-Cigarette Forum for details

please read the above mentioned blog and on youtube subscribe to Battery Mooch. in January I started using Vapcell 21700s in 24A for above 0.4Ω and Vapcell 35A for below 0.4Ω both are purple. They now can be found in the US at the better battery supply dealers. I use them in both mechanical and regulated mods.

Thanks for the recommendations!! I'm reading the blog now and will check out the youtube channel when I get off work.
I'll probably end up getting one each of the batteries you mentioned because I don't know if I which I will prefer ( plus ohm or sub ohm).

Which 21700 batteries would be best for a Eleaf iStick Pico S 100W? I'll be using +ohm and sub-ohm tanks if that matters.
Welcome and glad you re joined.
I have provided a little more information which might help choosing/evaluating batteries.

Thanks! I used to have a 6v mech mod drip back in 2010 and though I loved it, stuff happened and like an idiot, I started back on the analogs. MAN, things have changed a LOT since then. I've got a lot to catch up on.

Glad you are asking these questions, and pass along your battery safety knowledge as you can. It's totally not rare for new vapers to be sold rewraps or seconds from authentic battery makers, and they're just inherently unsafe.

IMO batteries are the single most important part of vaping, and yes, your choice of battery is largely dependent on the wattage you are vaping at, etc.

Glad you got some helpful information.

I've been using Samsung 40Ts and have been loving them. Mooch rated them at 25+ amp 4000 MaH on the preproduction versions that are on the market currently. One battery lasts me all day at 45W, and it usually has 35-40% left at the end of the day when I swap them out and recharge.
