My passthrough just died. I am sick of batteries that don't work! Since I started this e-vaping, I have been placing orders nearly every week not only to "stock up" for a possible ban, but also to buy batteries. At $15-18 a piece, these things should work.

We may be saving our health, but I am not sure we are saving money with this! No wonder people get frustrated and go back to analogs. . .

Are you using automatics that aren't sealed?
If not, where are you buying these batteries from?
Are you recharging them b4 they actually need a charge?
(helps protect an ions battery life-constant draining and the battery will die quicker)

LOL Muti-tasking is not my forte! I just got a pass-through and didn't know it used batteries?? I thought they got energy from the computer?? huh live and learn I guess

Thank you both for your quick responses. I am using a KR808D-1. I have both automatics and manuals. I also have a couple of the longer, stronger (380 MAWs or whatever it is) and a passthrough (that just died).

I have tried a variety of vendors, including NHaler, Vapor4Life, and HealthCabin. It seems none of the batteries "hold" a charge. I charge them up (until the light turns green) and put them away. When I go to use one, it works for like 10 minutes and dies, so I have to keep them freshly charged all the time.

I feel like I keep batteries charging virtually nonstop. I often take them off the charger before the light turns green even. I put them back on the charger as soon as they stop working well--i.e. before the light on the end blinks. Is this what I am doing wrong?

I started vaping a couple of months ago, I bet I have thrown away five batteries in that time. (So, adding in the passthrough, that's at least $75 in the trash.)

I have six batteries now. Only three of them work well. The regular power, automatic ones seem to be the most useless. I don't think I will buy any more of them. The autos are better, but I don't like the placement of the button. The extra long ones are best, but I threw one of them away last week. I LOVED the passthrough--well, for the three weeks it worked.

What am I doing wrong here? Do other people have these problems with batteries? Is there a mod that looks and feels like a cigarette and works for more than a week or two?

Well if their automatics (without the button) The battery compartment is not sealed off in some of them (maybe all?) If you really fill up your carts and drip on atty it probably is leaking into the battery compartment and killing the battery.

You want ones with a closed connection to the battery and not sure but I think most manual ones are closed. (closed e-juice can't leak and kill the battery.)

Don't worry you can't over charge a ion battery. In fact one's you deen dead leave them on there for LOTS longer. Roomba BIG battery says leave theirs on past green for 3 days to revive a dying battery..it works sometimes!

What are you doing wrong?? Guess juice lover with unsealed battery's. Pass through you might check the wiring from the wire to bat and push up..might get er going if there is a loose wire connection. Got one like that here.

-maybe it's your charger that is killing them or just not working?
-dunno bout the wiring in your home but maybe surge protector?

What ecig are you using. I have the 510 and have only had 5 batteries die in 9 month and these were not Joye. I ordered some off brand and 3 of them died. The first batteries I had were automatic and 2 of them died. When I switched to the manual batteries I have not had any die. Check and see how long you warranty last on the batteries and the passthrough.

It may be you are just having bad luck. I ordered 2 mod and have sent them back for repair 2 times. This mod has great reviews and I have never heard of anybody else having any problems with theirs. I guess I am unlucky also.

Smoke free now for over a month..

I did build a nico stick for under 15.00 included bats and charger from madvapes.com (they even have a ""how to" link for you) 3.7 V 900 mAh recommended 2AAA box mod but did the 1 cause I like a challenge lol

I have one manual and one automatic stock joyes
I also have 3 L2 bats (that I never use-in as backups only)
I have 1SEJ Mega 510 use a lot.

I have an adapter for my 510 that let's me use cartos.
I just got 4 bloogs and been told my batterys are probably all bad.
(they work but not right-nother story)
Only problems with batteries so far- has been the ones I just got.

Now as to mods with the battery last-most mods use the same basic type of batteries (you can see many of them listed on Mad vapes site or look into the modders forum).
Some mods do not even supply the batteries. But they are something you can buy and not through them.

Ugo is a bit different and new and is getting great reviews. Janty's battery

Juicebox same same situation as the previous mods buy your own battery-but unlike most mods it also address the e-juice and not having to refill it very often maybe 2 a week? Or to change flavors.

Also check out GLV he has a giveaway going on a fine model..sounds like you might win it....http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/greatlakesvapor/59315-glv-free-contest.html....you deserve a break LOL but you will need to buy your own battery (but doesn't have to be from any pv shop or u can LOL) Just saw one go up in classifieds!

OMG! I think you hit it on the head about the juices. I refill my carts. I put in about 18 drops each time--like the video says--and often have to do the swinging in a bag thing to avoid/fix the flooding problem. I bet that is what is killing my batteries. Not exactly sure how to fix it, but I will try cutting to 15 drops and see if that helps...

Thank you so much.
