Battery recommendation

I have a panzer black hawk clone mod and currently using a Samsung ICR18650-26F battery. And to be honest I'm not getting anything out of it. The battery does work for the tesla m6 mod i have but only for a short time. Mainly like 5 or 6 pulls and then nothing. But when i plug it into my battery charger it says 3 bars. Need some recommendations on good batteries to use.

Ps. I've only been building my own coils for about two weeks so idk if that has any affect on the battery performance or not.

ICR batteries are the wrong type of batteries to be used in mods for vaping. Only IMR or IMR/hybrid, safe-chemistry, high-drain batteries should be used.

If you are new to mech mods and rebuildables I highly recommend you spend some time with Baditude (one of our resident battery experts) and visit his blogs. You are 100% in control of your own safety (and others around you). Make sure you purchase an ohm reader and a voltmeter or DMM so you can measure your builds, check for shorts and measure the remaining charge on your batteries.

Only buy batteries from a reputable supplier (not ebay or Amazon) as there are many counterfeit batteries being sold. Here are several reputable battery suppliers in the US.

Hi Susan~S! Thanks for the recommendation. It kills me to see you say not buy from eBay or Amazon because i am actually awaiting a shipment of Sony18650 - US18650VTC4 2100mAh 30A high drain batteries from someone who appears to be a reputable source on ebay. But I'll take your word for it and buy from those links you recommended. I do follow rip trippers on YouTube who I've learned to coil and whatnot from, i love his videos, i think he's a pretty funny guy and keeps his videos entertaining. Not gonna lie though i am a complete novice when it comes to the understanding of batteries so i definitely got a lot to learn but i will definitely check out those threads you recommended. Thank you for the quick response! I'm already enjoying my experience here!

Its not that everybody on ebay is selling fakes, its just that theres just no way to tell until you actually get them. That's why it is generally recommended to use a reputable source. I think the battery you listed is a 5amp battery. I wouldn't use it in a mod

Understandable. When i do receive them how do test them to make sure they are in fact real? I see Susan's response below with the pictures so i guess that's one way to tell once I have them.

26F is designed for flash lights.

You MUST only use 25R IF its made by Samsung with ANY vape products.
