Ok so, I have both my batterys charged fully (Finally!!), I use one for about an hour. After that hour (mind you the battery is still going strong), I decide to swap it out so in an hours time the other batt is back to fully charged, rinse... repeat.

My question is... Is this ok to do, or is it best to run one all the way down before I load in a new battery?

Each time you charge them, they lose some capacity. And if it is one of the smaller ciggy like PV's, they have about a 150-200 recharge limit from what I have read. But li-on batteries do not have a memory so that is not a concern.

Ok cool, ummm... Its the ones that came with my 510...Where does that qualify? So like they wont recharge afther lets say the 200th attempt after I charged them half to full 200 times?

EDIT: Actually looked at your post and saw what you were saying.

After a month with my 901, the battery didn't last as long before requiring a recharge. Now after each usage, I'd just charge them. I've been alternating two for the past few months, and they are still working.

How to prolong lithium-based batteries

Avoid frequent full discharges because this puts additional strain on the battery. Several partial discharges with frequent recharges are better for lithium-ion than one deep one. Recharging a partially charged lithium-ion does not cause harm because there is no memory. (In this respect, lithium-ion differs from nickel-based batteries.) Short battery life in a laptop is mainly cause by heat rather than charge / discharge patterns.
