what is the max wattage of the smok guardian2?

it doesnt matter what you put on top of it,
what matters is whether you have the right type of battery.

but you put something on top that the guardian (or any other decent regulated mod) cant handle it just wont fire.

Sooooo... The Guardian II has a 18350 battery... But alot of people I see on these threads are using the
3.5ML Sub Ohm Tank Aspire Triton with it, My question: is it safe? The VERY last thing I want to do is blow my fu@#3n face off... So please reach out to me if possible I'm new at this and need proper guidence.

Thank you.

  • Operating Wattage: 6.0W-15.0W
  • Minimum Resistance: 1.0 ohm
  • 510/Ego Threaded
  • Made out of real wood and stainless steel
  • Utilizes one 18350 battery (removable and sold separately)

Main Features:

Variable Wattage:
Wattage can be adjusted from 6.0 – 15.0 Watts in 1.0watts increments.

Constant Wattage Output:
White LED - Wattage adjustable from 6W to 10W
Blue LED - Wattage adjustable from 11W to 15W

Those using the subohm tank are definitely not running a subohm coil. Minimum Resistance: 1.0 ohm means the mod will not allow for any resistance lower than 1 Ohm and will probably say something like "check atomizer" when fired. I dont own an aspire Triton but Im pretty sure they have a few 1+ ohm coil heads available. As for battery safety, the best 18350 batt ive seen has a cdr of 10.5 (Efest - Anybody seen these??? Efest 18350 10.5 amp?????). A 1 ohm coil at the 15 watt max of your device would only push 3.87 Amps. You do not need to worry about this particular mod blowing up due to overtaxing a battery. Im not saying something couldn't go wrong, but you needn't worry in this case.
