Battery Safety Question

So I have two Edest IMR 18650s for my Vamo V5 and I keep reading people say battery safety. So my question is how should I store the one that is not currently being used when it is fully charged, I always take them off the charger when I see that it says they are done.

I keep my batteries in plastic cases when not in use

Taking them off the charger is a good start. I'd either store them in a plastic case made for them, or at least in a spot where they won't make contact with each other.

I'd also keep them off the window sill, if you know what I mean.

Also use these if you carry spare batteries with you. Never place a bare battery in a pocket or purse which may have coins or keys which can complete the battery circuit. This can cause the battery to go into thermal runaway. The below AW IMR battery had been kept in a pocket of a book bag and came into contact with something made of metal.
