Battery safety

i am looking to purchase an xcube mini. What is the best safest battery to get for it. This will be my first mod that doesn't have built in battery. I am looking at the lg he4 3.7v 2500mah or the lg hg2 3.6v 3000mah.... Please help!

thats as good a choice as any...but buy from a reputable retailer. Like Illumn or the likes. No ebay.

I have bought Panasonic, Sony and Samsung 18650's from fasttech. I am convinced they were all real, the Panasonic's being 3 years old now and still work almost like new. If they sold me fakes they were very high quality fakes.

Ft cells get my vote, he2 and panny pd/pf.

Be aware USA does not like flying in batteries, they have to be shipped ground. And can sometimes take quite a while. I would order them from ft only if not needed right away.

Rtdvapor is my go to for years, 3-4 days you got mail.

Personally, I use the same rules for mechs and regulated mods. If I'm going over the 80 - 85W range, I use 30A batteries. Regulated mods are supposed to protect you from mishaps, but I just don't trust a cheap Chinese circuit board to keep me safe. I use Sony VTC4's in mechs and in my iPV4 and they are great batteries. I have a couple of sets of the LG HG2's, and they are also great batteries, but I only use them in parallel devices over 80W. Once you crank up the wattage that high, the difference in mAh will only give you maybe an extra half hour of run time, and to me it's not worth the risk.
