For my starter setup, I bought a kit of 2 eGo-C Twists with Vivi Nova tanks, Joyetech. The Twists are 1000mah. I'm totally pleased with them!

But I wanted some additional batteries for both backups and versatility, and was drawn to the fun/beautiful color choices of some "designer" batteries. These are eGo/eGo-T batteries that are 1100mah. I don't believe these are by Joyetech, and are not claimed to be, but are sold by a very reputable vendor and the reviews were great, so I now have a couple of them.

I'm just kind of curious why my eGo-C Twist batteries at 1000mah are about an inch taller than the eGo/eGo-T batteries that are 1100mah. From what I've seen on pictures of different battery comparisons, it looks like those with less mah are shorter than those with more mah. So I would have thought the 1100mah designer batts would be at least as tall as my 1000mah ones.

I have been using Twists for almost a year now. I choose to keep using them. I am on my 4th one, and that's only because the first one got dropped and the twist part broke off, the second one got dropped into my cats water bowl, and the 3rd one my wife uses as a backup. The twist I have now, has been dropped a few times, even on a parking lot, and it's fine. I would say they are pretty durable, but just be careful with them. The only bad thing I will say about them is the twist knob tends to move when in your pocket or just rolling around a car seat or a couch. Also, the numbers wear off the twist cap, and after a while, it's hard to see what voltage you're at.

I'm really pleased with the Twists, don't feel any need to "move up" ... not sure whether that itch will hit me later on or not!

I don't really look at the voltage on the dial -- what I've done is set it at the lowest for starters, then turn it up a little at a time until I get what I like out of the vape.

And thanks @matcas for the info about why the Twist is a bit longer, makes total sense.
