Still waiting for my wood grain. :D Maybe a nice maple, or even knotty pine. :D

How about a nice purple-heart or cocobolo or bobinga or curley maple or zebra wood or... Wow - that gets AWESOME fast.

In fact... Naw, forget I said anything. Wait - forget I DIDN'T say anything... [scribbling ensues]

And Joe - second carbon fiber - but some of the more exotic yellow thread or purple thread over charcoal CF. Woot!

This would be a cool pattern of colors.

29.06mm wide (giving some room for overlap heat-weld)
101.65mm long for the XL or 77.91mm long for the Reg

This assumes auto. Complications arise with manual.

manual, i was thinking either different skins with little holes or just doing a snip for the button spot on normal ones.

As long as the switch doesn't get over-depressed (that sounds funny!) when pulling the skin on.

How about shrink-wrap-style - put it on and hit it with the blow-dryer?

Maxx - bio hazard? rad hazard?

no smoking skins would rock.

I'm loving that idea too!

I'm trying to think of a type of decal that would be removable without too much fuss (and without ruining it) so that you could change whenever. Like a clingy type thing that would stay decently and still be great for a graphic

val, i dunno about a decal that could do that--but a thin hardish plastic sleeve with a silicon or rubber lining (so it wouldn't slip off) would work, don't you think? something that was split up the back and slightly flexible so it could just be gently eased on. i'm making a cover for one of my batts similar to that... but i'm using polymer clay and there's no way that would be sturdy enough to sell. i just know it won't take me long to make and i won't care if i break it myself.
