Battery sticking

Wonder if you guys can help me with this one. I don't know if I have wrecked the battery somehow by inadvertantly overfilling a cart or what but I have one that likes to stick. It doesn't seem to produce all that well, either, in the vapor/flavor/throat hit department. What's happening is that, when I take a drag off of it, it doesn't want to shut off. This doesn't happen all the time but quite often. Anyone else run up against this? And, if so ... do you think it's a cart issue that has affected it? IS it possible to ruin a battery with an overfilled cart? Those of us who suffered from other models know this can be the case with them but these VK carts are pretty bloody amazing and the juice doesn't flow out of them like all those others do so would seem like it would be harder to wreck a battery with them.
Am placing an order for the super long manual that everyone is raving about and will use only that one for re-filled carts just in case.

I had one that stuck pretty bad and he replaced it for me. My other two autos stick every once in a while too, but not a big enough issue to bother V4L with. Only happens maybe once a day or so.

I had one that quit holding a charge properly..was mean as hell then poof in like an hour, the batt didnt give me the little confirmation blinkies when i plugged it up to charge, and then started sticking on. He replaced it. My battery woes were over. Took about a week for it to start acting up, tried it again about 2 days ago, still does that crap, its clearly defunct.

the one he sent me has been just like my other battery, works great..to err is human, and these things are made in china, which has more humans than anyone

Could it be the cart might be on to tight or the cart itself is warped?Had one stick for a bit and I loosened the cart then it was fine.

This happens to be to with both my batts. Don't know why it will just keep running for 5-7 sec than shut itself off every so often. Dosn't seem to cause much a problem though.

Thanks for all the replies, gentlemen! I'll hang on to this battery a while longer. Hate to bug Steve about it. He's so damn good about the extra goodies he always throws in that I feel like I'd be taking advantage by mentioning this. Just glad to know it's probably not my less-than-stellar cart filling. Geez - don't know if I should place that order this weekend I was going to now or wait for all the new goodies that are coming in hopefully soon. What a dilemma!

Mine does that sometimes too but I believe the battery has a secondary 8 second cut off safety feature in addition to the 5 second one that sometimes sticks. So I am not worried about it. I just realized you can activate the battery by taking one of the condoms and sliding it over the tip. You can see how sensitive the pneumatic switch is. Make sure you remove your cartomizer before you do this. This is awesome because now I will be able to compare batteries.

as a side note, since that one i had go bad, i've had zero issues with my VK batteries. I had to explain the product in detail last night lol, gave him the card demo'd the item, found a new cartomizer for him to try.. He was kinda reluctant to give it back haha...let him try 36 french pipe and he was like WOW!

I had this problem yesterday, and took a bent paperclip and gently pushed it into the battery and moved the switch up and down a few times, cleared it right up.

I killed my battery doing this so I do not recommend it. All I used was the plug from a cartomizer and now the battery does nothing...won't charge either. However this battery was getting weaker. I wasn't sure how much weaker it was until I swiped my roommates battery, and his is still as strong as the first day I received the batteries. So mine was going bad. I just now placed an order for some liquid and left a note in the comments section. I would never attempt to take advantage of Steve's warranty but that battery was on the fritz. So thank god for the warranty.

I received a battery that had the exact same problem/issue. Burned up one cartobecause of it, and if I hadn't noticed it the second time, probably would have burned up another.

Put this battery on the PCC charger last night before I went to bed, solid red light still on this morning. Unscrewed the battery, put it back on the PCC.... still solid red. Me thinks this battery is a dud (or I also have a PCC problem). The battery may also be the reason why the VK vapor output isn't up to my expectations. Dunno.

Sent Steve an EMAIL regarding this, and I'm sure.. based on his reputation.. that he will handle this for me.

Try giving him a call, I am sure he will take care of it for you. If you aren't getting vapor/flavor/throat hit, there is definately something wrong...

I had the same issue and sent a PM to him, I have no doubt it'll be fixed. I have 2 other batteries that are just fine so it was just this 1 dud I got On the PCC it never went off red either and on the wall charger it just done nothing at all.
