Is it an auto or manual battery? Sounds like the switch is stuck on.
Yep, that's what it sounds like. If it's a manual battery try tapping it on end gently on a hard surface to see if the light goes out, if it does recharge it and see what happens. If it's an auto gently push the end of a paperclip into the small hole and move it up and down, you should feel the switch moving, this has worked for me. Keep your connections clean with a tissue or qtip as general maintenance.

My joye 510 battery does not work but still glows blue and has been for 8 days now. I thought the light would go out but it still goes strong. Very interesting

This is pretty rare. I had one that did that from a very popular and extremely expensive vendor. It would not heat up an atomizer, nor would the light go out. And it will not charge. It is still on after 4 months. And useless.

Nothing I have tried has worked.

Somebody once suggested if the light ever goes out, it may be able to be charged. Like a messed up ipod or something.

I have it in a metal box. Mine is a manual. Don't know about the op's.

I doubt it would be able to blow up now as it is almost completely drained.
I guess I should check on it maybe I can try to charge it again if it is drained.
I'll hook it up to the tree outlet way out in the back yard.

One of my manual 510 batteries was giving me grief yesterday. From a full charge, I got about 20 minutes in before the switch appeared to stick OFF, and would not charge. Percussive maintenance fixed it, I nearly beat it to within an inch of its life but it's been working happily today. I apologised to it later and gave the thread a bit of a clean as well. Not entirely convinced the switch was the whole story though.

On a related note, Joye Stick V3s complete with battery will survive a round with the washing machine. Just needed to dry in the sun for a bit, and the atty needed the washing powder taste rinsed out of it! Only side effects seem to be a very minor amount of rust staining on the circuit end of the protected battery, and the switch has to be given a more definite press to work now. Although, it seems switch issues are common with the V3s without this sort of abuse.
