So I've had my GSB for a couple weeks now and am wanting to explore vaping at different voltages. Currently I am using the 18650's at 3.7V. I have some Boge 3 Ohm cartos that I am waiting on using, but since Altsmoke doesn't directly endorse using other batteries I was hoping you could pass along some suggestions for the batteries I could safely use. From what I have gathered there is a possibility of using the SB at 3.7, 4.?, & 6V. What batteries are you using? Links to specific vendor pages would be much appreciated. Thanks!:vapor:

Your right they don't recommend stacking batteries however many including myself do it so with that in mind here we go. I dont know about 4V but for 6V I picked up some Tenergy 123A 3V. I would recommend picking up at least two sets probably three, also keep them in pairs I marked mine 1a,1b etc...

LIFEPO4 CR123A 500mAh 3.0V (Pair)

Tenergy RCR123A Batteries

For 5 volts (4.8 actually) you can use the nimh batts that a lot of vendors sell, but you will have to add another charger to your arsenal for that one.for 6 volt I use the aw lifepo 3.2 volt batts and if you want scorching hot you could stack 2-3.7 batts for 7.4. I did that one time...just 1 time.

The wf-188 charger will work with just about any batts you put in it (not the 4.8 nimh) even the 3 volt batts and it is a pretty good charger. I've seen them for $16.

Do label your batts in sets and rotate them as far as being on top/bottom in your device. What I do to assure rotation without having to think real hard about it is this. When I take batts out of my Bullet to charge I put the top one in the left channel...when I load them back in after charging I put the one from the left channel in first....left to right going in and coming out. Hope that made sense.

Just what is a nimh battery and how safe is it? Also using that on a SB, what volts do you get under load? What would be the best tank/cartomizer combination with that 4.8 battery?

i am using Tenergy RCR123A 3.0V stacked in my SB with a dual core carto and 8.5ml tank.... i was wanting to get a pack of 18650's at 3.7V.. does anyone know a reason why i shouldn't? i love the hit that the RCR123A's offer and i really don't want to loose that... and my first thought it well .. 3.7 is more than 3.0, however what i don't know is the fact that its 2x3.0v batteries equal 6.0 output at the carto??? i am not an electrician and never claim to be.. and volts, ohms, watts, etc is like someone is talking greek to me...

any advise/help is appreciated... i would hate to spend the money and buy new batteries and then not like what i have and end up wasting the money...

Your hitting that bullet at 6 volts now and if you're liking that you may not care for 3.7, especially with a dual coil. I'm doing the same as you (6 volts..dual coil) and have 2 aw 18650 batts that look as good as the day I got them, and have had them for 5 months or so. I keep the charge up on them every other week or so but the have only been in my bullet a few times.

i noticed that i can get 2 18350's and end up at 7.4V ... is there any options for batteries to go higher in volts??
