Battery =Taste

Strange as this may sound. I have a few set ups and i have to say my Itaste battery seems to put out the best flavor. Ok I know you all think I'm nuts but I have Switched tanks and for some reason or another. My Itaste battery is by far the best even though I am using the same v on a same size battery capacity. Am I crazy? or can this be so?

Hi Krisi Thibault and welcome to the forum!

I suspect that it's because the iStick is known to run a bit higher (power-wise) that what the screen is telling you.

Hope that helps and Happy Vaping!

The IStick uses mean voltage regulation, and will run hotter than devices that use RMS. Hence, cheat. Whether that's a "win" or not... is imo irrelevant. Adjust to taste, not numbers.

But OP stated was using an ITaste, Innokin, not ELeaf. The Itaste uses RMS.

And not all instruments meet the same calibration specs, even if they use the same regulation algorithm. 11 watts on one device isn't necessarily 11 watts on another, they could both be withing specs, but at opposite ends of the allowed range. For example only, don't know the specifics, say it's +/- 0.5. So one could be 10.6 and be shown as 11, while the other could be 11.4 and show as 11. Nearly a full watt difference.

I'm new to all of this and find this very interesting. Because I've just noticed the same thing with my new IPV mini and iStick 30w.

Protank 3 on either one at the same wattage. And the IStick VERY noticeably tastes better and just feels smoother. If that makes sense.

Atlantis on either one. Same wattage. Much bigger clouds and just tastes better.

Also noticed that the Protank leaks terribly on the IPV for some reason. And hardly at all on the iStick. I'm not sure why that would happen or if it's just coincidence. Atlantis doesn't leak at all yet.

Taking all this into account, the only issue that would ever be relevant would be if a user finds themselves on full power on the MVP or iTaste and then wonders why they can't even get to 11w on something like the iStick.

...not that I know anybody who had that specific issue.. :ohmy:

(I vaped solidly for a month using the iStick about 11w and then went back to my Innokins). After that, they all found new homes. It was that noticeable.

between the istick and MVP, yes the mpv delivers 11W - with the right ohm topper, and math. it actualy goes OVER 11w if you set it in volt mode and do the math for the max 3.5A output between your topper.

ETA:Resistance 1.5 at 5V = 3.3A(under the max 3.5A for mvp2 :p) 16.67Watts ---- definatly over 11w

and to say that istick is better at 11W then mvp, also not true. istick has no step down.... so fresh charge your getting the MEAN value of 4.2 volts constantly untill the battery dies, no matter if set to 11W or lower. - just poor power regulation... and it definatly stands out.
