Well, I think I'm convinced. I do like the idea of the on/off switch, and I'm told that new bottom caps should be in soon that have a switch built into them, so I think that's all I'm waiting on. Once those are available, I expect to order.

If they take very long coming in, maybe I'll be able to come up with enough extra cash to get the wood veneer. :)

Initially, I will use the same atomizer/cartomizer stuff I'm already using on my ego. I'll have to pick up an adapter to do that.

Later, I think I'll be adding a liquinator from Vaporesence, and I think that should get me where I want to go.

Thanks for the advice.

FYI the Buzz Pro has many protection built into it , Over current ( short circuit that can cause battery problems) over temperature , reverse battery insertion etc. these are the same protections built into the batteries , the AW 16340 750Mah ones have the protection circuit built into them IF you want that , up to you !

Very cool! The wood ones are absolutely beautiful.

I assume the atomizers/cartomizers being used with the ego are 510, what top cap are you getting with the Buzz?

The Buzz was made for a tank. I have a liquinator on mine now and it is pretty much the same exact diameter as the Buzz Pro and looks really sharp. I can't wait until Mikes tank is past the prototype stage.

Mike are your tanks the same diameter as the Buzz Pro as well?

They're actually slightly smaller in diameter. I'd say about a 1-2mm smaller.

The 510 top. I've never used anything else. I'm currently using an ego so everything I have is either for a 510, or for the eGo specific 510 varient. I'll get an adapter so all of that will work with the Buzz.

They are selling the liquinator in several sizes. 3 ml, 5ml, 5.5 ml phat, 8.5 ml. Do you know which you have? I'm thinking I want a 5ml, but I may want the "phat", if that is the one that is the same size as the Buzz Pro.

Do you know the measurement with the veneer. The hubby needs to get one of the holsters on his woody Buzz. I hate to see him cover it up, but it seems if he can't clip it to his pocket it gets drop more. Griff says he can make it, but he needs " a really accurate measurement of the diameter with the veneer attached." Normally I would have the hubby measure it, but I wanted it to be a gift.

I'd love to see a pic of the holster when you get it!

I have the 3ml tank.

I just went through the first charge on my Powerizer batts. I got 8 1/2 hours out of them before my Buzz Pro stopped. They got me through about 4-5ml of juice vaping @ 4.5V using an sr boge carto in a li*****tor tank. I vape quite a bit because I work at home, and just love my low nic flavors, so battery life is important to me. I guess I was hoping for more time based on what I read. I just popped in another set.

After a fresh charge they metered at 3.95V. When my Buzz pro quit on me, they were at 3.18V and 2.44V, respectively.

Is that a 510 SR, which means maybe around 2.5 ohms? I run 6 - 7 ml, full day for me, but that's at 3.1 ohms and near 5V. Same power, but with higher resistance I draw less current. (I likely vape in a pretty efficient zone, that's why with both BP and Infinity I get rock solid run time.)

I get 9 hours from my old Ultrafires Jewels and they come off the charger at 4.1V. I just got some Powerizers today and they're still on the charger so we'll see how they do for me.

Depends on the fitting. In a 510, nominal boge SR is 2.5 ohms, while in KR808 the classic SR is 3 ohms or so. 5V is not inherently better than 4.5V, just that if you ran 4.5V, 2.5 ohms, that's about 8.1W power, while with 5V, 3.1 ohms, that gets to the same 8.1W, while drawing less current.

Well, my boge sr cartos meter at 3.0~3.1. I am going to stay at 5V on this freshly charged set to see if it makes any difference. And I'm measuring my juice carefully because that may be a truer indication of batt life because we all vape at different paces. My UF batts lasted about 5 hours. Gosh, I must be a "Vaping monstress".

That's strange, I just stopped by Kalamazoo Vapor Shop and bought some Boge 510 cartos. They only had 2.0Ω ( listed as LR) and 3.0Ω (listed as SR).
