I ordered a manual battery for my 901 from Vaporkings.com and whenever I use this battery I get the horrid burnt taste, but when using the automatic batteries that I originally got it is fine.
Any ideas?

Well, after more time with it, it also randomly decides if it will even turn on... So I believe I got a crud quality battery.
Well, I do believe it is the kr808d1 manual batt, which could explain it having more power, though the atty has enough juice. It however doesn't explain it randomly deciding to not turn on.
well if that's the case a return on the battery is in order... or a refund, have you e-mailed the supplier yet? There's nothing externally you could do to fix the batt, so I'd take it up with the guys who sold it to you. Or maybe... just maybe the button has to be broken in a little.
Haven't emailed them yet, first wanted to get some input from others and make a more educated decision.
Might be high bridge atty burning your cart if so trim couple of mil off cart 3.7 battery should not give burn't taste, try more juice, if not what previously stated then bad atty
