what type of batt does the silver bullet take?

An 18650 Li-Ion or IMR, AW IMR 18650 2000 mAh this is, IMO, the best battery you can buy. The Eftest can be had cheaper, and I can't say anything bad about them, but AW tests each and every battery to meet his needs.
