Brace yourselves, I'm having a thought
You know how there's a ton of room just above the bottle cap? I'm contemplating rigging up a warning light there that would go off when the battery drops below, say, 3.5v
All it should take is a small IC, 2-3 resistors, and an LED. Should be able to mount it to the plastic "guts cover" without any drilling or soldering of the other parts.
The kit and schematics are here: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/11087. The circuit board they include would totally not fit, would have to use the Reo's internals cover for a circuit board.
Question is -- any of you electronics nuts can come up with an alternative and possibly simpler schematic?
Also, Rob, do you happen to sell the replacement guts covers for the mechanical Reos, on the tiny non-existant chance I completely mess it up?
