Could be a number of things:

  • Could be your charger has gone bad. It happens.

  • What are you plugging your charger into? A USB/wall adaptor with AC prongs is what is recommended. Using a computer USB port or a car's USB port could deliver too much/too little current and damage the charger or battery.

  • Make sure you haven't pushed your battery's center pin into the battery by overtightening your tanks. You may need to tease them up a millimeter or two to make proper contact with the charger. If the charger doesn't indicate that it senses the drained battery by turning red, its not making electrical contact with the center pin.

  • Allowing e-liquid to accumulate in the battery connector well can interfere with electrical conduction. Use a paper towel or QTip with rubbing alcohol to clean the connector and center pin.

  • Don't leave your batteries connected to the charger longer than needed. Once fully charged, remove them. Leaving them on for extended periods can decrease the life expectancy of the battery.

Perhaps the center pin on your batteries got pushed in a bit? This could cause it to not make proper contact with the charger, so the charger would think nothing was plugged into it. This is a fairly common occurrence with the eGo-style batteries. Most often the cause of this is over-tightening things onto your batteries, it's important to avoid doing this and just screw your toppers in until they just make contact :2c:

I have a joyetech charger that won't charge unless I press the button briefly. I quit using it and picked up another one. You might check that out.
As others have said it could be the center pin of the battery and you can work the pin up a bit with as small screwdriver, just make sure to turn off the battery first.
You can find videos on YouTube showing how its done.

Still no luck, When I plug the battery in it lights up 2-3 times but stays green. Have tried 2 chargers.

My ego chargers were always finicky. First I always cleaned both contacts well. Then I plugged the charger in First and slowly screwed the battery on and Stopped at the charging light.

If I kept tightening it would often be green.
