The V2.5, not sure which version you have, will do 5 volts max and might fire down to a .8 ohm coil, some will, some won't.
So 5v at .8 is a 6.25a load. But as the battery should see it, even at 3.2v it's a 4a load. Either way, you aren't taxing these batteries very hard, no where near their CDR, so the likely hood of a Provari pushing a battery to vent is slim to none.
