I've been charging Joy Ego's overnight for the past 7 weeks - usb in wall - I wouldn't worry about it.

I don't think having the battery plugged in overnight is going to make it last any longer than charging it until it reads that its charged. It may actually shorten its life span.
Well ... at the very least continually over charging your battery will shorten it's life span, but don't know if it would explode or anything

When the charger light turns green, it stops providing power to the battery. It doesn't keep trying to charge it. Only when the charger is light is red, will it actually provide the battery with power.
If it never turns green, well then that could be an issue.
I charge my batteries overnight all the time. I'm just not around all the time to be able to wait hours on end and remove them the moment it goes green.

Its not recommended to leave batteries on the charger... but if your in a pinch it wont really hurt them (unless your using a really cheap charger).
I highly doubt that manufactures intended us to sit and wait for a light to turn colour

ive had ego battery get too hot to touch being on the charger only an hour and the battery never worked again so even though its mostly harmless there are chances of malfunction , i wouldnt recommend charge them while im asleep but i still do sometimes
Charging overnight shouldn't be a problem. Your battery will not overcharge.

So if you charge overnight -
Using a corded charger - set the battery on something that doesn't transmit heat - so the cord is not "dangling" from the wall with a weighted battery on the end.
Using a low profile charger (no cord) - Should be fine.
If you have a surge protector - plug it in through that. If you don't have a surge protector - get one (it's an ecig must-have).

but this one time i was talking to a friend and her friends, brothers, sisters, aunts, cousins, brothers, sisters daughter had one malfunction so things happen!
