EMS to me in Ottawa has 'always' been anywhere from 3 to 8 weeks by the time it was at my door.
EMS usually takes me 3 to 4 weeks on anything I order from China.. I usually just order and forget about it and than get surprised when it's at my door lol.. a week would be a shocker IMHO.

Yeah enroute.. still takes a lot of time and goes through customs etc.. that is the first step and you usually don't see anything after that.. I never can track stuff from China.. like I said order and forget lol

Just thought I might drop a note here also. I was a vaper for over a year then went back to analogs. I've decided to give vaping another go. Just reading the first few posts and I can remember when I first got in to vaping.
Like a lot of people who try e-cigs, I tried many different devices. My first was a 401 auto, I then got a 808 then a 510 and finally a 602. I found the 510 the best. I then started getting some mods as I got tired of recharging batteries all the time. So I got a Silver Bullet and an Indulgence. The Bullet was better (lighter drag). After the bullet I tried LR atties in it. Wow that was a lot of vapor. Now that I'm back in to it I'm getting yet another mod (and LT variable voltage).
So what this is all coming down to is you'll probably get a few different makes and models. It's really not like smoking, where if you started on certain brand you stuck with it. You'll hear people talk about "You must get this one it's awsome!" and they are right, at least for them. It's all personal preference. Remember to ask many questions in the forums. If you fall off the wagon (like me) don't take it to hard. You can always switch back again.
I forgot to mention juice. Well that is even more personal then PV's. All I can say here is try and find others in your area and trade/try other juices before you lay out a bunch of cash.
On shipping. I've ordered from the US, Canada and China. All my packages made it through. But that was a year and a half ago. I just ordered some juice from China to see if it would make it. Most things from the US and CA made it in no more then a week (may be a week and a half). China always took 3 weeks.

right so the item has left wherever it was from and is heading to canada. When it reaches here it will be sent to customs for inspection
it sometimes can take a while.... how long no one can tell.
Basically as the item is getting ready to be shipped from whatever country, it is scanned and the tracker updates saying that it is leaving and heading to Canada.
The plane ride takes however long. Your item is most likely on a skid or a giant bin.
Plane lands and the bin or skid is moved to Customs. It may sit here for an unknown amount of time before someone basically picks it up and scans it again. At that point your tracker will update with being reviewed by customs.
AFTER that it will either be released by customs or not.... we will assume that it will be released.
Once released it goes back into a bin and Canada Post takes over. At this point it USUALLY (but not always) gets scanned again saying that it has been released and CP is going to process it.
Next CP will process and sort it and it will be on your way to you..... whatever route you want to take.

Can I ask a question... Did I read right you only smoke 8 cigs a day? WOW... I wish that would have been the case when I smoked.. I know you guys pay more for them up North but dang thats good....
I was once at 3 cigs a day.... a week before I fully stated vaping (I was vaping and smoking at the same time)... and during the first little while when I started smoking
He ordered some juice, an SD card, a tripod, and a camera or something like that, I do believe. The vendor claimed it on Customs Forms as "Video Game Accessories"
just got a reply and was claimed as a GIFT ............. idk if its a good or bad new
