Not to sound like a noob but has anyone else come across battery's with the label on upside down reading positive on bottom ??

Thanks for the pic. That white sticker is applied by either the battery manufacturer or the battery re-seller for shipping purposes. It's placement on the battery should be of no concern.

The LG 18650HE2 is an IMR/hybrid battery with a 20 amp continuous discharge rate and 35 amp pulse rate, and is considered one of the better batteries available should it fit your application.

The purple Efest 18650 2600 mah 35 amp battery actually uses the same cell and re-wraps it as their own and saying it is a 35 amp battery on their purple label. Efest is misleading shoppers by using the maximum pulse discharge rate (35 amps) instead of using the maximum continuous discharge rate (20 amps) like most battery manufacturers use.

B&m shop hooked me up with it and the stingray clone. Has been working great was just curious about the label cause i just about put it in charger wrong !! Thanks for the info now i wont make that mistake again.

That's why I don't purchase Efest batteries, though I love their chargers (have the LUC V2). The confusion over the labels & specs. The battery brand is also the lowest on the totem pole on the ECF's list of preferred batteries for mods.
