Travel and Vaping Batterys and Planes

If you go on the plane, and you put your stuff not to be carry on - is the battery damaged when put in with the clothes?
I don't want to bring my stuff carry on.
Any Thoughts?

Other than batteries leaking or perhaps shorting out on something (jeans zipper) I would guess it to be safe. We have all carried electronic products in our non-carry on (psp, nds, mobile phone, mp3 player, etc) over the years and they are all Li-ion based.

Frequent flyer here - i've fl0wn to/from most continents with my pv kit in carry on, and i've never had a problem. Enjoy your flight!

Sethkal, I think everyone thought you said carry-on, and that's OK. Would not recommend batteries for Check-in luggage, this from the TSA website "Keep batteries and equipment with you, or in carry-on baggage - not in your checked baggage!"
