Yes, that kit is not really available the UK. The mod would still be OK for multiple batteries though.
Nice price on the VC4. Are you sure it has a mains (AC) power cable. I was looking at them direct from Xtar UK (Bright ideas, Amazon) and they don't have a plug. God forbid.
There are nice priced batteries right now on nextdaybatteries.
You can thank domesticextremist on AAEC for that tip

I imagine the kit is not available as the tank is not TPD compliant. AFAIK, there's nothing in the TPD that would impact the mod itself.

I wonder if mods will ever get to 1000 W ???

Give it another few weeks.

Mooch has about that explains how you calculate amp input differently than that of a mech. P÷cutoff voltage. 120w÷6.4v =18.75amp. So you would be safe at 120 w in a dual battery mod. If it was a single cell then the cutoff voltage would be 3.2. Some mods show the amps on the screen but that is the output amperage, which is irrelevant. I'm sure if you search calculting amps in a regulated mod, you will find mooches post. Always trust the mooch lol

All they have to do is make it, and sure enough there will be people buying them and vaping it. Along with that , the tfv 75 coil heads in the smok monster bigger clouder bestest baby massive beast XL9000 mod, which is a 15 battery mod...the tank holds 30ml of juice and in 10 minutes it's gone

Yeh.. I have some of those. The point is Xtar UK should be selling the proper UK mains specification power leads with all their chargers. Xtar UK selling .../US/EU spec mains plug products, so if you buy one in the UK you have to own or buy a USB wall adaptor = not good i.m.o.
Not everybody works 100% off USB yet. Now, my next house will have USB mains in the wall. :thumb:
Anyway... they are never getting my custom again, as they haven't even bothered to process and post my order.

Anyway... I'm glad you didn't spend your money with them and found a better deal.

(I'm really quite annoyed)...

Did you get an account?
72 hours now, not a thing other than they took the money from PayPal.

I am going to request a refund tomorrow after/when I phone them unless they have something half-decent to explain this situation.

It's possible they are too busy (with Amazon orders etc.), let's see what they say.

Note that different mods have different cutoff voltages, that needs to be taken into account. Also account for chip inefficiency, add 10% to the amps in the calculation (if you know the actual mod efficiency, use that in your calculations).

Me too.
Kind of regretting that now.
I'm not really worried though. They are one of the biggest on Amazon after all.
426 ratings. 99% positive.

ok i got an out of hours e-mail of Xtar kinda feel sorry for the guy, sounds like hes run off his feet

Hello.

I do apologise but I have had to context you from this email since for some reason after a few days I receive a message from my mail server to say that it has not been able to deliver my emails to you.

I have re posted your item and it should be with you on Monday if it was with you today.

If you have not been able to contact me by phone the am sorry, there has been several occasions this week where I have not been able to answer the phone due to a few appointments and not having any staff in to cover, also if you tried to call today then you will not have received an answer due to not being open today. I'd normally still take calls over the weekend but this weekend I promised my wife I wouldn't since she is pregnant with our twins and it will be it will be our last weekend before they arrive so if you did try to call today I do apologise for not answering.

Bit please rest assured that your order is on its way and if you have not received it Monday then please let me know.

I will be quickly popping in to the office tomorrow to drop some stuff off so I will also find the tracking number for your package and send it to you.

Again I do apologise for the slowness of reply but I had been unaware they is not been delivered until today when I received a mail delivery failure notice (it's happened a few times recently so the problem is my end and I will have to get to the bottom of it as it creates a terrible impression).

Thank you

Chris
