Found this article in the opinion column of our local paper. I do believe this is in direct response to the one that I had posted last week about the use of pv's and st products.

COMMUNITY COMMENT: Battle against tobacco continues » Evansville Courier & Press

(Editor's note: the following Community Comment was submitted by a group of community leaders. Their names appear below.)
This year the Indiana tobacco Prevention and Cessation Agency celebrates its 10th anniversary of fighting the No. 1 preventable cause of disease and death — tobacco use. Indiana has moved a long way toward becoming a tobacco-free state.

MoonRose,
You don't understand. Who pays the FDA to do testing? Who stands to lose a lot of money due to PV's?
Big Tobacco & Big Pharma.
It all comes down to money & politics, not your health or the future of any children.
This is sad, but the way things are in our society.
See your are a nurse as my wife is & has been for almost 30 years & she uses a PV.

Get it

It shows where the FDA really stands on public health. They care about the money, not your health.

Louis, I do know that money is the real issue here, but most of the public does not know that and close their eyes to it. So what we have to do is change public opinion about pv's and all other forms of smokeless tobacco. Because as of right now, the majority of people, both smokers and non-smokers are under the assumption that smokeless tobacco products are just as harmful if not more harmful than smoking. Even the majority of our legislators believe this, we have got to combat the lies with the truth if we ever hope to really have a chance of changing how the use of nicotine in safer products is viewed.
